New thrift shop on West Broad Street

There's a new thrift shop on West Broad Street.
I've not shopped there yet; I've only seen it from the bus when I am going to work in the mornings.
I don't know the shop's merchandise or prices, but I'm putting it on this blog so all you frugal Richmonders can check it out.
Trash-n-Treasure Thrift Shop -
2711 West Broad Street (just east of the Boulevard.)
Hours: Mon.-Sat. 10a.m.-6p.m.

Nice. Where would you go to find nice, affordable furniture in Richmond... either used or new? Your frugal insight is appreciated.

Kyle, I don't buy much furniture. Most of mine is donations from friends, old things I got when I managed a building and various alley finds. However, I did find some decent stuff at the Goodwill and Salvation Army and at various yard and rummage sales in the WestEnd. Also try salvage stores, etc. Look on Craigs List, Freecycle and in the various little local trader newspapers.Check the local RTD and Style classifieds, too.
Here's a link to frugal furniture buying tips:

Also, IKEA is just up 95 North in Potomac Mills and people I know who shop there say they find great stuff and it is very reasonbly priced.

Alexandere's Auction house has auctions on Thursday, and you get get decent antiques for great bargains. The stuff that isn't worth as much can be had for a steal. I saw beautiful Oriental rugs going for not any more than you'd pay for an ugly one at Target.

I have been to Trash and Treasure and it is awesome. They have some of the coolest stuff I have seen in along time ,and there prices are unbeleivable. I bought a couch that looked almost brand new for $40. The others in town would have charged at least like 3 times that. I have continued going there and am never dissapointed. Check it out it is definately worth it.

how would i go about selling lots and lots of XXL size men's clothing. high end, i.e. ralph loren, joesph Bank, Clark shoes, etc.ruby

To sell those men's clothes:
I would try a free ad in Craig's List, a paid ad in the Pennysaver, Richmond Times Dispatch and/or Style or a consignment shop.
If anyone that reads this blog is interested they could leave a message but I would have to have a contact email for you to do that.
