2 New Bargain Outlets for Richmond

Last Saturday, when I was in the West End, I happened upon a new bargain store:
Ollie's Bargain Outlet.
Ollie's is similar to a Big Lots or Salvage Barn, although Ollie's does not sell much food.

I found some bargains there. Among the items I purchased were a couple of "Dummies" books for $6.99 each. These books were recent editions and they were priced about 2/3 below retail. I also bought a Rubbermaid across the lap tray for $3.99. I have seen these advertised for anywhere between $6.99 and about 15 bucks. A huge Colgate toothpaste sold for $1.99

Ollie's has some great bargains, but you need to know prices, because some of the items are not particularly good deals.

Ollie's has a frequent customer program called Ollie's Army that offers bonus points, special deals and other perks to its members.

Hi! There is another bargain spot for Richmond/Mechanicsville area. My husband and I have opened a wedding boutique selling new and used wedding gowns which we purchase on consignment. The gowns are in excellent condition, preserved and dry cleaned at a fraction of the cost one would have to pay for them new. We also offer services for designing and redesigning gowns for plus-sized women and handicapped women (women in wheelchairs, etc.). I would like to invite you out to our shop. Contact me at regina@planningwithexcellence.org or 804-427-7507.

When Ollies first opened my mother in law called me to tell me they had this wood play house for $100. (they where only giving away 10) i got number 9. I think they have VERY good prices when it comes to kids toys. I saw a toy at target for $30 and it was at ollies for $9.99.

A friend told me she bought some food mixes at Ollie's and that the bags were infested with bugs.
She said Ollie's has some good bargains but don't buy food there!
