There's a new farmers' market in the Richmond area!
I've not shopped there but it just opened on May 3, 2008.
It's located in the Lakeside Towne Center.
The hours are:
May through November
Wednesday - 8-12 a.m. & 3-7 p.m.
Saturday - 8-12 a.m.
I'm very heartened by this new trend of more local farmers' market located in town or in the near suburbs. The trend helps the local economy, cuts down on long distance shipping fuel costs and greenhouse gas emissions and helps local folks eat better by having easy access to reasonably priced, nutritious in-season produce.

Have you visited this place yet? I live in lakeside and saw it the other day while driving home from work.
Jon, No I haven't been there yet, but plan to go sometime in the next few weeks.
